The Clinic

  • This is an indoor jump training clinic.
  • The clinic will be held in the International Arena at Bury Farm and there will be a mixture of SJ and XC fences in various combinations and at varying heights.
  • Each morning will start with a theory session presented by William on the stages of training horses at each level, the philosophies and practicalities and the 'hows' of dealing with challenges.
  • Throughout, William will present his philosophy of training to the riders and spectators as he coaches the riders through a training sequence suited to their level and the individual horse.
  • This clinic is interactive, it is not simply a day of lessons! Riders and spectators alike will be invited to ask questions and take part in discussions to support their learning from the sessions.
  • Riders are encouraged to watch as many of the other sessions as possible to support their learning from their own lesson.
  • At the end of each day there will be a Q&A for spectators and riders to consolidate the information and learning from the day.

Start time: 09.30

Finish: 17.30

Riders will be split into groups of 4, according to ability, and each group session will be 75 minutes long. The same groups will ride on both days.

To ride on this clinic is £425

Stabling is charged by the venue at an additional £40 per night and includes bedding

To apply, simply make your deposit payment, below, to hold your place and then complete and return your booking form (download below) with as much information as possible about you and your horse so that we are able to group you accordingly.

Organised Equestrian reserves the right to refuse anyone a place on this clinic if we believe that their level of ability is not suited. In the unlikely event of this happening your deposit will be refunded in full.

The clinic is open to all levels, however, this is not a clinic to which you come to learn to jump. All horse/rider combinations must be competently jumping, at any height, both at home and away. Please be honest with yourselves... if William, the situation, or the environment will make you nervous, then this is probably not the clinic for you (this time!).
